Classified!

I guess--since this is a fashion blog--you're wondering what exactly my style is. I haven't posted a lot of pictures on my site yet, since my Dell isn't the best at importing pics.
I have a tendency to match. Like, really match. If I'm wearing rainbow socks, for example, I'll want to wear every color on the socks for the rest of the outfit. Crazy, I know, but I do dislike normal. I go to school and all I see is jeans, sweatshirts, sweatpants, etc. I'm so sick of all of it--it's like everyone's trying to be like everyone else. Another thing I dislike is fads. All it tells me is people don't have imagination.
When I was in middle school (actually, not that long ago, even though it seems like it was forever ago), I admit I did try to fit in. But that's a normal thing in middle school--no one has a style yet, and you always want to be noticed. I was also listening to the brainless pop music on the radio station everyone was listening to, and basically just trying to be part of the 'it' crowd. Did it work? No. I was especially shy back then, and everyone got the wrong idea. They thought I was stuck-up and only thought about myself. They didn't realize that I was completely new, in a new town that my mom and my idiot stepdad (well, ex-stepdad now) dragged me to.
But I'm fine now. It's strange, but at my high school there isn't really a 'popular' crowd. There are few people, though, who have their own style, that doesn't include stupidly expensive jeans and Ugg boots (why do people wear those boots?! They're ugly as heck! I guess it keeps feet warm), and I respect them.
But I still have the need to stand out. I wear bright colors and try to have on at least one article of clothing or an accessory with sparkles. I'm all about the bling. Today my friend John said I looked like a techno leopard (yes, my friends are all very weird thinkers). It might have to do with the hot-pink leopard print scarf I was wearing, now that I think of it. Anyway, he said it was because of all the bright colors I was wearing, and I felt honored to finally have my style classified. He said I should have a blog named 'Techno Leopard', actually, and I told him about this one. But now that I think of it, that would be a good title for a blog...
