Don't ask me why I'm watching this

2 tops (plus whatever is underneath that if there is anything) plus a jacket? AND a colorful scarf as a belt? Kinda overdoing the first impression there!!

Updatez

What I'm doing now is a boyish, casual style. At the beginning of the year I did something which I thought was considered 'Techno Rocker,' but instead I kinda looked like a clown hooker. I even asked Rachel what she thought of my make-up, and she said I looked kinda like a doll. Also I was making her boyfriend Aaron feel even more awkward than I should have been. So I toned it WAY down. I only wear a thin layer of brown eyeliner and one coat of mascara now. No extra unnecessary stuff like bronzer and lipsticks. Last year for my Diva Monster style, I actually sometimes wore more than one lipstick shade!
I wear goofy T-shirts (appropriately baggy most of the time) and color jeans. I love wearing black jeans--they're so simple and basic. I either wear my suede boots or my hiphop shoes.
I have also cut most of my hair off, and made my bangs into a fringe across my forehead rather than shoving them to the side like I've always been doing.
For the Homecoming dance, I'm pretty sure I was the only chick that didn't wear a dress. I wore a suit jacket and dress pants with a gold tube top. I looked pretty good. Miranda said so. A lot of people were dressed like it was the prom instead of just a simple high school dance--boutineers and corsages and really fancy dresses. It was pretty ridiculous.

 Rachel and I
I found a corsage (or boutineer--how are they physically different??)
Rachel and Aaron (handsome couple..if I do say so m'self!)

Schoooool...

So my senior year starts tomorrow and I have plans for styles this year.

Remember my ideas for Smiley Raccoon Eyes? Well, I'm deciding against it (which is not all that surprising) and doing something called Techno Rocker as my all-around style for the beginning. I'll look like a rock star with bright colors, and I'll be listening to my music often. Now that I have headphones with an adjustable volume on the cord, I can control it so conveniently! I'll still smile though (I hope).
Later in the year, when I have a job and am getting paid on a regular basis, I'm opening a BIG style in which I read romance novels deep into the night and wear lots of black and deep purple and red. I'll also eat lots of dark chocolate and drink sparkling juices. I'll also be dying my hair black (for the third time in my life). Why am I doing this? Because I like sensual stuff, and I think this is a style I'll be able to keep up with well. it does require a better income than now, which is why this won't be starting until later. I have to buy a lot of stuff.
That's what I've planned for this year. Nothing else has come to me yet, but the sensual style I'm planning will probably go through most of the school year. That's what I'm thinking now, anyway.

And I already planned my senior style

...at least for the beginning.

Sorry I haven't posted in forever. I'm at Dauphin Island Sea Labs now for a marine science course.

My styles went nutso. Literally. I couldn't stay with one style for more than a week at times!!!!!

I had a black week, which was basically wearing all black with my prom wrap. The last few weeks were basically color jeans, T-shirts and hoodies in a fashionable way.
Yeah, nearly a month of being a Freaky Diva did enough for me...and everybody. Whew. Bright colors and glitter for that long was enough to hypnotize...or at least cause headaches!!!!!!

Holy wow, do you realize I'm gonna be a frigging SENIOR this year??! Then I'm out!! No more high school!! Evah!!

But I think I know what my back-to-school senior style is going to be. It may change. Actually, I will certainly not be surprised if it does.
It's called Smiley Raccoon Eyes. I decided I want to stop dressing so girly all the time. There are times when I literally want to be a guy. Weird, right?
So I'm going to get a bunch of hoodies and color jeans and T-shirts and sweatshirts and wear lots of eyeliner. There's a group of people that sort of look like that at school; they listen to dubstep and always have their headphones around their necks and are total slackers! Some of them are really nice, though. Maybe I'll get into that group this year. Probably not.
The eyeliner is the 'raccoon eyes' part. But looking like that, I realize, can look pretty sketchy and like I'm mean, so I'm also going to smile a lot. I don't smile very often now. I really should. It won't be so much that I look creepy, but just a new natural look.
I'll also listen to music VERY MUCH. I asked for really good headphones for my birthday coming up, and hopefully I'll get them. My phones now have broken in half, but they still work if I tape them. Still, I'm tired of wearing my hat over them so they'll stay together. It just looks weird. I wish I had a different iPod instead of my dinky Shuffle, but those are expensive and I can only have so many things really. ;)
I was going to grow my hair out, but I've changed my mind. I always barely get to shoulder length before I get fed up and hack it all off again. I want to get a pixie cut, but leave 2 strands in front. And my bangs. I'm going for a punk hairstyle. I'm kinda nervous about how it will turn out, but I tested it in the mirror by just putting my hair back, and it looks okay. You really have to have the right shape face to pull it off. I hope I don't wimp out. I was going to cut it off several times in the past and I got wimpy.

This is what I'm going for. I know it's on a dude, but with any luck at all it will do me well.

Sears

I got 'Shop your Way' points at Sears, and I received 7 free dollars to spend online, so I bought myself a present.

It's a Miss Juli graphic mashup stretch top with 'rock' stuff all over it. It was on big sale for $2.99. I'm such a cheapskate.
I need to pick it up from the Maplewood Mall when I get a confirmation email.

Change o' Plans

Remember when I said I was gonna change my style to a raver wannabe? Well I changed my mind. You really can't PLAN who you're gonna be; you need to let your next style come to YOU. Thinking ahead is risky and it doesn't always follow through. Just let it happen.
So I'm going from my Rocker Chick With a Hint o' Goth to Little Rock Monster Superstar Diva. It's not that different, but it will be noticeable, that's fo sho.
I'm so obsessed with being different. Blending in, for me, is like poison. Back in middle school I wanted nothing more than to look like everyone else. But that's pretty natural, right? It's middle school! Now even the thought of looking like everyone else gives me the shivers. The students of my school are split into 2 groups: people who want to fit in, and the creatives. On the creative side, it's all about dying your hair and  looking different. It's almost like a competition. But it's funny, 'cause sometimes when they try to look different, they end up wearing the same things.
I'm on the creative side, of course. But I don't want to fit in with them, you know? I want to be more different than even them. Which is difficult. Which is why I need to keep switching styles (that, and I have too many ideas).
I have this spark that if I dress differently than everyone in school, I will be noticed. I WANT to be noticed. That's hard to believe because I'm shy, but that's only on the inside. I want my style to speak for itself. I say to myself every day, when I walk through the hallways, 'Look at you. You look better than anyone,' which sounds pretty self-centered, but it helps me stay confident. Which I REALLY need.
I guess whoever is reading this has no IDEA what my style names mean and work, so here's the criteria:

Rocker Chick With Hint o' Goth

I guess the title pretty much speaks for itself: a rock girl with some gothic aspects.

-Wear guitar pick necklace every day
-Mess up your hair (scrunch!)
-Cut parts of your clothes off for that 'edgy' look
-Thick eyeliner
-Dark red/purple lip stuff
-Try to wear boots as often as possible
-Fishnet glove
-Dark clothes
-Add some sparkle and you're good to go!

Little Rock Monster Superstar Diva

This goes by the style of Lady GaGa, sort of an edgy celebrity bitch look.

-Star necklace daily (superSTAR, get it? ho ho ho)
-Wear your shades EVERY time you go out (whether it's sunny or not)
-Keep your lipstick color bright but not light
-GIANT earrings (earring singular for me, 'cause I've only got one piercing)
-Lots and lots of sparkle!
-Crazy freaky eye makeup (like GaGa's); I'm serious, do NOT be afraid to go all out with it!
-Gloves daily (I have lots, so well stocked)
-Try NOT to keep your nails naked! Make those bitches glam!
-Wear hair 'extensions' to be colorful (I got mine at Claire's; they're just clip-ons)
-Wear bright colors; be OUTRAGEOUS!

I'm thinking back to the first semester, when I was wearing coordinated, seasonal clothes like a freaking teacher and it's hard to believe I really wanted to dress like that. Honestly, I'm looking back at the photos I took of me wearing them and I just about want to vomit looking at some of them. But that's me for you; I never stay with a certain style. I love variety. It's what I go by and I hate the same stuff over and over. It's a circumstance where I DO like change.
So when I come back from Spring Break I expect I'll be fully settled into my new look. The shades I have posted are my Don't Look at Me, Don't Talk to Me Diva glasses; I have a few other pairs but these are my favorites. I got them when my family and I went to Ormond Beach; they washed up on shore--I'm serious! My uncle said something like, 'Hey, Rosii would love these!' and I do. They're so rad.
Anyway, I hope this new style will get me some ATTENTION. It may be true that the look will be so outrageous that people might get a little uncomfortable to say anything to me, but I guess I will catch them staring or something. I hope my friends like it as well.
